The earths crust is shifting a small amount at a time. Most weeks we are hearing about yet another earthquake or volcano that has erupted. If you follow the locations it can be a little unsettling, and one can almost pick the next location of one of these events.

Over time there have been many earthquakes across the globe. Is it that as we are now globally connected and we hear about every quake through the media where before many were just not reported; on we THINK there are more, or is it a reality for sure. Are the quakes actually becoming stronger in actuality over time? Do we have the data to research this properly?

Bev, many years ago I had a very strange dream in which I looked down on the state of Louisiana from a silent craft of some sort and watched as a huge triangle of land shock and disappeared into the gulf in a heartbeat. That was the whole dream. I have been thinking about it again since this oil spill.
ReplyDeleteThere is a fault that runs under the area of Louisiana I saw fall away into the gulf. It was active briefly in 1930. From the reading I've been doing they say they aren't that sure of LA's earthquake potential because of all the oil and gas that has been removed from deep under the plates. Interesting, with what is going on in the gulf!
